Three years ago Juan Casanueva was part of a team of Mexicans that started looking at how they and other hackers could address civic and transparency issues in Mexico. In this short video, Juan explains the growing popularity of civic hacking initiatives in Mexico and he considers the challenges civic-hacking efforts face in achieving sustainability and social impact.
